The heart behind the lens

Rural Lifestyle & Country Wedding Photographer

Hi, I’m Ash — a photographer with a deep love for rural life and the stories it holds.

I’m drawn to storytelling, to the small moments that say the most, and to the kind of imagery that feels like memory rather than a posed performance.

My love for photography began when I was young — whether I was unknowingly documenting childhood memories or bossing my brothers into backyard photoshoots, I was always drawn to the art of storytelling. That curiosity never left me. It simply grew into a career built around emotion, intention, and the belief that photographs become the memories we hold onto for a lifetime — long after the moment has passed, and sometimes long after the people we love are gone.

I photograph rural families, country weddings and the genuine, in-between moments that make each story uniquely yours. Sometimes that looks like generations coming together on a family property, childhood memories woven into a wedding day, or an intimate elopement in a wheat paddock. Other times it’s simply the beauty of your everyday — the way you hold each other, laugh together, or settle into the rhythm of life on the land. For me, it’s the connection, the emotion and the authenticity of your story that matter most.

I live on a property just outside Goondiwindi with my partner, our horses, and a collection of pets who make every day slightly chaotic in the best way. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in the garden (especially my veggie patch), outside in the bush, or soaking in the small, fleeting moments that make everyday life feel grounding.

At the heart of everything I do is this:

connection matters, stories matter, and the life you’re living right now is worth remembering.

If you feel the same, I would love to photograph your story.
